I have just made a quick test: what you say is not correct.
Logarithmic angular binning works perfectly well with
WHAT(1) = +2 or -2:
USRBDX +2.0 212.0 21.0 3.0 4.0 1.0 First
USRBDX 10000. 0.01 10.0 6.2 0.01 10. &
USRBDX -2.0 212.0 21.0 3.0 4.0 1.0 Second
USRBDX 10000. 0.01 10.0 6.2 0.01 10. &
Result:
Bdrx n. 1 "First " , generalized particle n. 212, from region n.
3 to region n. 4
detector area: 1.0000E+00 cm**2
this is a one way only estimator
this is a current like estimator
linear energy binning from 1.0000E-02 to 1.0000E+04 GeV, 10 bins (
1.0000E+03 GeV wide)
===> logar. angular binning, first bin = 1.0000E-02 sr, upper limit
6.2000E+00 sr, 10 bins ( ratio : 2.0430E+00)
Data follow in a matrix A(ie,ia), format (1(5x,1p,10(1x,e11.4)))
.............
Bdrx n. 2 "Second " , generalized particle n. 212, from region n.
3 to region n. 4
detector area: 1.0000E+00 cm**2
this is a one way only estimator
this is a current like estimator
logar. energy binning from 1.0000E-02 to 1.0000E+04 GeV, 10 bins
(ratio : 3.9811E+00)
===> logar. angular binning, first bin = 1.0000E-02 sr, upper limit
6.2000E+00 sr, 10 bins ( ratio : 2.0430E+00)
Data follow in a matrix A(ie,ia), format (1(5x,1p,10(1x,e11.4)))
Why don't you send your input? There must be something else wrong in it.
