Dear fluka users
I want to simulate a deuterons beam on a beryllium
target and a He-3 on a beryllium target. I created a
.inp file and a .pemf file but the results are the
same: nothing but ionization (although we know we have
in practice many neutrons from deuterons break-up).
Moreover, I successfully managed to simulate a protons
beam on the
same beryllium target.
My questions are:
1-can FLUKA simulate a deuteron and a He-3 beam?
2-Why do I have no neutron? Did I forget anything in
my
input file? Is there a special cross section database
for this case?
3-Why don't we have any photons on the output file?
