    The reason you are getting problems after the crash is that the crashed
    pemf run left some symbolic links and temporary files in place. You have
    to remove them before restarting (look inside rpemf to see which clean-up
    the script does after successful completion).

    The reason your run crashed in first place is probably some mistake you
    made when changing some of the parameters, however it is difficult to know
    without looking at.
