Dear fluka experts,
I've been looking at energy deposition in thin targets.
(1GeV pi+ on 300um thick Si., using fluka2005)
I've used two methods, 1) using the DETECT card and 2) summing energy
deposits in the "mgdraw" subroutine. The predictions are very similar,
but differ at higher energies as can be seen in attached plot, where
the dashed line represents the DETECT results. Can anyone tell me
why the differences in the tails?
