Dear Fluka experts,
Stopping power ratios are important for dosimetry using ionization chambers since they are part of the conversion of ionization in air to dose to water.
Ideally the cavity integrals required for the stopping power ratio calculation are all calculated inline within the Monte Carlo simulation avoiding problems with the resolution of binning.
I would like to ask if it would be possible to compute stopping power ratios directly from inline calculations using FLUKA rather than first calculating the fluence differential in energy and then separately averaging the stopping powers over the calculated spectra?
Many thanks,
Ana
