For general use it is strongly recommended to use the predefined AIR material.
If you want to redefine AIR as in your case to add carbon you don't need to redefine
the carbon with a different density. The density of the constituents of a compound
is only used when you specify the compound as a volume fraction. For atom or mass
fractions is not used.
Lastly if you want to reuse carbon with another density for some other reason
you need to use it with a different name

Dear Vasilis,

I used two CARBON types because i also need to observe the carbon of the material air. Does it matter that i observe air in my simulation? Or can i resign air as a material?
