Dear Yang,
For the moment there is no high level interface for using the genetic
algorithms in FLUKA. It is a complex task that requires
good knowledge of the FLUKA code and programming.
So I would recommend your first step is to learn how to use FLUKA
and perform some simple parametric studies of your problem.

Subject: [fluka-discuss]: Genetic algorithm implementing with FLUKA
Dear Fluka users,
Recently, I am researching how to use genetic algorithm with FLUKA for optimizing the detector design. There are many parameters should be confirmed, traditional methods are hard to find the optimum parameters. I think the genetic algorithm should be a suitable method to achieve the goal. Unfortunately, I am not very familiar with FLUKA and genetic algorithm, and more worse,I have no idea at all about how to combine them together.I know there are few articles discussing about FLUKA optimization using genetic algorithm, so could anyone help me to solve the problem? Detailed steps or methods are appreciated.
