Subject: [fluka-discuss]: RE: PPSOURCE fails with not an in-flight event

Hello again,

Just to follow up on this, when I ran the same input file in 2011.2c-6, the job completed successfully with all output. However, with both 2011.2x and 2011.2x.1, I got the error I mentioned in my original message. Any suggestions for how to fix this would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Paul

Subject: [fluka-discuss]: PPSOURCE fails with not an in-flight event

Hello,

I'm trying to run proton-proton collision events using PPSOURCE in SPECSOUR. I defined the collisions using the following cards:

BEAM -7000.0 PROTON
BEAMPOS 0.0 0.0 1.E-9
SPECSOUR 0.0 0.0 6500.000 0.0 0.0 -6500.000PPSOURCE
PHYSICS 15000.0 LIMITS

When I try to run, the job fails with the following message:

Abort called from PPSOUR reason NOT AN IN-FLIGHT EVENT Run stopped!
 STOP NOT AN IN-FLIGHT EVENT

Is there a simple fix for this? Thanks for any help.

Regards,

Paul
