Dear Maria,
this example usually runs smoothly and there must be a problem in
your installation. It is hard to tell without seeing it, but perhaps
I can list a few things you can check:
- what linux are you running? Ubuntu, Fedora...?Is it a 64 bit system?
You can type "uname -a" to verify this.
- which gfortran compiler version is installed?Type: "gfortran --version"
- make sure you are using the latest Fluka version (2011.2x-4) which
runs with gfortran 8.2 and that this matches with your system;
- did you install Fluka from the tar.gz file using the provided makefile
(as in the manual at pag. 35-36)? or from the rpm file?
It would be useful to see the output of the installation process.
