Dear Luis,

I think the approach is correct, but I don't find the same value as you: I found it by a factor 1000 bigger, ie 2,8125*10^8 instead of 2,8125*10^5. It seems that somehow in the calculation you lose a 10^3 factor, while your values are correct (1 µA électron = 6,25*10^12 e- per second).

My opinion is not to show the mSv per year directly on the isodose map because it does not reflect the reality or somehow an indirect reality.

What I show is the µSv per hour normalized plot, while the linac beam is on. Then, I would check with the annual beam use (maybe with duration of presence of a human being in the premicies if needed) if it complies to the 1 mSv limitation in public area or not. But this is just the way I do things, of course you can map the mSv per year normalized plot if you want to.

Best regards.
Sebastien.

Dear Sébastien and Fluka developers,

I keep working on this hint you gave me and I wanted to check if what I am doing is correct. In order to get the msV per year, if I have 1uA current, is the following normalization correct?

{{10^(-6)}A / {1,6e-19}C} x 3600 x 40 {hours/week} x 50 {weeks/year} x {1e-9 mSv/pSv} x U x T =281250 , U=0,25 and T = {1/40}

This numbers are not realistic, but first I need to undestand the process.

Best regards,

Luis

Thus, I guess I am getting the result in pSv/primary. However, I don't know how to get the equivalent dose for the whole year and check if outside the bunker it is bigger than 1msV.
