Dear Dr Mansy,
there are different methods to obtain text files as output of the USRBDX
card.
1) You can process the files in Flair. Flair will internally call the
routine usxsuw.f and create 3 output files as described in the
following.
2) You can run the script bdxsum.sh in $FLUPRO/flutil
This script will call the routine usxsuw.f , which analyses the output
of the USRBDX card.
To run it please type in the terminal
$FLUPRO/flutil/bdxsum.sh inputname nn
where inputname is the name of your input file and nn corresponds to
the unit of your fort file (as chosen in the USRBDX card),
i.e. inputname###_fort.nn , where ### is the number of cycle.
bdxsum.sh calls the usxsuw.f routine for all inputname###_fort.nn
files found in the folder.
The usxsuw.f routine will produce three files:
1) a text file with extension ##_sum.lis, which contains averaged
distributions, standard deviations, cumulative (integral)quantities
2) an unformatted file which can replace the N unformatted estimator files
in further postprocessing
3) a text file with extension ##_tab.lis, to be easily readout by graphics
codes
The ##_tab.lis file contains a header followed by a 4-columns-table, where
the 4 columns correspond to:
1) Left boundary of the bin
2) Right boundary of the bin
3) Scored quantity
4) Error (%)
You can read the table in ##_tab.lis with your external routine and apply
the required mathematical operations on the values.
