Dear all,
while experimenting with the delta ray card I noticed a mismatch between the fluka manual (
http://www.fluka.org/fluka.php?id=man_onl&sub=20) and fluka itself. According to the manual, enabling the card DEFAULTS HADROTHE should set the delta ray threshold to 100 keV with a tabulation ratio for hadron/muon dp/dx of 1.03. Instead, the .out file contains the line
"***** Delta ray production activated above 3.0000E-04 GeV *****",
suggesting that the delta ray threshold was set to 300 keV. The simulation results when using DEFAULTS HADROTHE are also inconsistent with a manual delta ray card
"DELTARAY 0.0001 1.03 BLCKHOLE _at_LASTMAT"
but instead match with
"DELTARAY 0.0003 1.03 BLCKHOLE _at_LASTMAT".
I've attached the .inp file used(#define hadrodr controls whether delta ray card is set manually) and also the corresponding .out files for the case where DEFAULTS HADROTHE is used without an additional delta ray card and when DEFAULTS HADROTHE is used with an additional delta ray card with threshold of 100 kev. I would be thankful for some input on whether I am doing something wrong or if this indeed an error in the manual.
