Our study object is on a plasma confinement by a toroidal field component
and a transient poloidal field which should lead to an helical magnetic
field resultant.

Hi Luca,
So, the resulting magnetic field is solenoidal? if so, I could give you some
leads.
One of them would be the generic approach to interpolate from a field map.

We are designing a toroidal material which has to be ruled by a Toroidal -
Poloidal Magnetic Field.
