Dear FLUKA users
Fluka-2021.2.4, a respin of Fluka-2021.2, is now available on the
Fluka web site (www.fluka.org).
This respin implements two features:
- an extension of the pointwise neutron cross section library, now
including all stable isotopes, plus several fissionable ones and
some important fission products as well. Many isotopes are now available
at extra temperatures, look at the $FLUPRO/pwxs directory for a
look at what is available, and/or in the manuals. Since some of the new
isotopes are rather exotic, they are not very common and therefore
they could not have been tested as thoroughly as more common ones,
please report any problem;
- extension/improvements in the groupwise neutron cross section library.
Lutetium is now processed out of Tendl-19 rather than Jeff-3.2, Hafnium
out of Endf/b-8r0 rather then Jeff-3.2, Rhenium out of Endf/b-8r0
rather then Endf/b-7r0, Holmium and Osmium have been added,
both out of Endf/b-8r0.

This respin addresses a few issues, among them:
- a further few (very) rare crashes in rQMD when run at energies above
10 GeV/n (see the 2021.2.2 announcement about why the threshold for
rQMD has been raised);
- a very rare issue in Peanut;
All users are urged to update to the latest respin.
