Dear FLUKA experts,
I need to model in FLUKA a germanium detector. I need to study the
correction factor to apply when the radioactive source is placed in
contatact to the detector and when is at 10 cm from it.
I found two problems:
1. I can correctly score the deposited energy on the detector. I put as
a source Au198 and with the DETECT card I was able to obtain the
correct gamma spectrum. Hower, when i I tried to score the flunece
inside the HPGE detector with the USTRACK, I always obtain zero in
the scoring. I tried with photon, energy and em-energy but none
showed any results. Maybe, I am missin some key physics card?
2. When I run the two different simulation, 10 cm and contact, the
DETECT card shows no change in the results. Why?
