I have been using Flair and the COMPOUND card for some time. Normally, I
want to enter mass fractions.
So one can choose the pulldown item for "mass" and enter the fractions.
Although one enters positive numbers, these actually show up as negative to
Fluka. This is OK, I suppose.
I like to use parameter substitution with Flair and have recently done that
with a COMPOUND card. My results were not as expected.
So if one's parameter is, say, mfrac, and one uses =mfrac, the COMPOUND
card switches to atom fraction. I.e., it passes positive numbers to Fluka.
You cannot choose "Mass" in the Mix key. You have to enter =-mfrac to get
mass fraction BUT the Mix entry stays at "atom".
This is confusing. Why can't the "Mix" choice dictate the sign passed to
Fluka?
