Core dumps on Fedora 12

Hi all
For those who run FLUKA using Fedora 12 Linux distribution:
core dumps do no longer appear on Fedora 12 thanks to the "smartness" (??) of
the abrt daemon which is supposed to manage them (but actually deals only with
those generated by rpm-owned packages).

The solution(s) are

or stop abrtd (eg service abrtd stop)

or (eg inside rc.local):
    echo "core.%p" > /proc/sys/kernel/core_pattern
