I have the impression that you have an error in the geometry.
When you have defined the pipe:
PIPE 5 +void -sil1 -sil2 +pla1
you forgot I think to subtract the portion of your target, that is
in this region of space (the portion of the cylinder between 0 and
39.999). I changed your line in:
PIPE 5 +void -sil1 -sil2 +pla1 -targt
and I could run your input file without crashes (I stopped the run
after 10^6 events...)
