how many regions can i define in a .inp

dear all
          Since my mail has been replied that i can't get the energy
deposition of Gd2O3 or
Al2O3(http://www.fluka.org/web_archive/earchive/new-fluka-discuss/3831.html),
i'm trying to get them in another way.
         I sliced the region of Gd2O3+Al2O3'mixture into 1000 slices,500
for Gd2O3, 500 for Al2O3,interlaced.i think it can approximate the
mixture.But when i run the flair,error occurred that "Too many
regions,increase Nxxrgn.execution terminated "
I have 2 questions:
1. is my way right
2. how many regions can i define in a inp
