For a description of the energy losses see the initial part of the
manual (Chap.1 and references therein).
For a description of the step length see the manual (pdf) Chap 7.1.3.4

You mean the error given in the scoring (i.e. usrbin, usrtrack, ...etc)?
After merging different cycles the error is expressed in [%] of the mean
value (of the different cycles).
