Dear George,

FLUKA needs symbolic links to run (for the moment, we are trying to get rid of them),
for the random number and to the nuclear bin files.
Since Windows do not provide symbolic links you cannot run FLUKA on a mounted directory in FLUPIX.

BTW. The vboxmount is a bit obsolete with the new versions of VirtualBox. Now
you can create shared folders that are automounted (if you check the option
on the shared folder in VirtualBox). Then the next time you reboot FLUPIX
it will detect all automounted folders and mount them in the /media directory.
