Dear FLUKA users
the FLUKA development team is organizing the second joint advanced course/workshop
in Vancouver, Canada, next September, 2012, from Saturday 15 to Thursday 20.
The course/workshop, organized with the precious collaboration
of TRIUMF and Canadian Light Source, will be held at:
<http://www.coasthotels.com/hotels/canada/bc/vancouver/coast_plaza/overview>Costa Plaza Hotel located in downtown Vancouver,
close to the beaches of English Bay and the world-famous Stanley Park.
The course program will cover advanced topics in FLUKA, with lectures
and challenging exercises. Being an advanced course, participants are expected
to be capable of performing FLUKA simulations. In addition, they
must arrive with the latest versions of FLUKA and Flair properly working
on their laptops.
The workshop is intended to be focused on FLUKA applications with particular
emphasis on the implementation challenges, the adopted recipes and possible
criticalities.

Application deadline: July 15, 2012
After that date, accepted participants will be notified.
Priority will be in principle given to applicants submitting
a contribution for the workshop.
