Dear Leila,

This is not possible since uranium ions (like other heavy ions) are not transported with different charges. Hence, you cannot separate different uranium charges in scoring estimators.

My I also refer to one of your previous questions:
>> What does charge particle mean exactly? Is it atomic number of element or various charge of an ion?
When they transverse matter (and in particular at low energies), ions can pick up or lose electrons, i.e. in this case ions are not fully stripped and the ion charge is different from the atomic number. FLUKA uses an effective ion charge to account for this when calculating energy loss of ions. However, as I said above, a certain ion species is not transported with different charge states.

Cheers, Anton

Subject: Differential yields of different charged Uranium

Dear friends,

Firstly, thank you so much for your guidance about assigning of
differential yield of uranium using AUXSCORE. Unfortunately, my problem
has not solved yet. In fact, I need to separate uranium ions with
different charges from each other.

Could I evaluate this procedure using FLUKA code?

Thank you in advance for helping me in this matter.

Leila
