Dear Joe,

I was looking at unanswered questions and I think you never got any feedbacks on the post below.

What you would need to do is indeed to use the source routine but you have to be careful to load all secondaries from a single event at once, assign each time a weight of 1 to your "pseudo" primary and increment WEIPRI by 1 (for the whole event.)

Hoping this help
Joachim

Subject: [fluka-discuss]: source routine for decays of a beam particle

I am using an external kinematics routine to provide the kinematics of a beam particle, its location of decay, and the kinematics of all decay particles from a given decay mode.

How do I enter the info into the source.f routine? An event will consist
of a set of secondaries, not including the beam particle. What must be
entered, and where, for the beam particle to ensure energy balancing, etc.? How are the secondaries processed to ensure they are treated as a single event, without causing any processing of the parent (beam) particle? I will be using usreou.f after each event.

Thank you.
