Subject: [fluka-discuss]: Installation problems - recompiling
Dear FLUKA users,
a colleague of mine and I are trying to get started in FLUKA but encountered some problems running the program after the installation.
We use the Fedora 19 system (64 bit) and installed fluka-2011.2b-4.i686, flair-1.2-4.noarch and geoviewer-1.2-4.x86_64 with the RPM installer.
After the installation, everything seems to work fine, flair and the geoviewer can be used to create input files and geometries. But if we try to run any input file, even the most basic and essential examples, there is always the same error. No particles are created and the following error message can be found in the nohup.out file:
ERROR: /usr/local/fluka/libflukahp.a is newer than /usr/local/fluka/flukahp. Please recompile
Unfortunately, we have no idea how to do that, any help will be appreciated.
Thanks in advance,
Patrick
