  which is your distribution (type and version)?

-> /usr/bin/ld: crt1.o: No such file: No such file or directory
You miss the 32-bit compatibility libraries.

a "yum install glibc-devel.i686 libgcc.i686" (as root) should fix the
problem is nothing else is missing.
