Hi Eleni,

as you correctly guessed it refers only to Nitrogen.
From Al you will get the (n,xn) reactions not explicitly but as an increase in the downscattering matrix
but not the (n,p), and (n,a)

Subject: [fluka-discuss]: product transport from low energy neutrons

Hello,

in the online manual section "Low-energy neutrons" 10.3.3 is stated:

"Recoil protons and protons from N(n,p) reaction are produced and transported explicitly.."

This "N"(n,p) refers to Nitrogen or is a random letter for all materials?

I am interested in the products of 27-Al(n,p), (n,xn), (n,n+p), (n,a) from low energy neutrons and I do not understand if they are transported.

Thank you for your help!

Regards,
Aza Eleni
