Dear Zhiyu

I understand from old answers to the list from the development team that for the time being LOWENNEU as a generalized particle is only available in the development version and will be available later in the production version that can be downloaded on the FLUKA website
In your case to get the neutron fluence for different energy intervals through a boundary the most straightforward approach is to use a USRBDX scoring between the two regions of interest. You can use the data file in ascii which are produced once you process the output and where you find the cumulative results for the different bins. Note that the bin structure will be the one of the 260 group structure used for the multigroup transport below the 20 MeV threshold for neutrons.

Hoping this helps
Joachim

Subject: [fluka-discuss]: LOWENNEU in USRBIN

Hello,
It seems that the particle type of LOWENNEU in USRBIN is relatively newly implemented in FLUKA and FLUKA documents are not updated for this new part. type. Can any expert tell what the low energy range of neutrons is set to? I am more interested in thermal neutrons. If the low energy range here is not thermal neutrons, I would know the simplest way to select thermal neutrons. Any hints? For example, I would know thermal neutron flux through a certain boundary.

Thanks,
Zhiyi.
