Dear Ana,

The parameter you are looking for in ustsuw is NMXEBN. Also note that the maximum possible number of USRTRACK bins you can have when running FLUKA depends on the memory available. There is not a dedicated memory allocation for USTRACK, but the memory is shared with other scorings (e.g. USRBDX) and in particular also with other data (e.g. cross section tables). In this sense, what eventually counts is not the number of bins in one USTRACK scoring, but the total number of bins in all USRTRACK scorings. Anyway, in case you exceed the allocated memory by asking for too many bins, the code will stop with an error message.

Cheers, Anton

Subject: [fluka-discuss]: USRTRACK: change maximum number of bins

Dear FLUKA experts,

I would like to change the maximum possible number of bins of USRTRACK. Looking at the file ustsuw.f I'm not sure which parameter I should change...

I would very much appreciate any help.

Many thanks,
Ana
