Re: [fluka-discuss]: raddecay option

Dear François,

RADDECAY considers all radionuclides produced in the simulation prompt
stage. Since usual defaults (PRECISIO, NEW-DEFA, HADROTHE, CALORIME) imply
neutron transport down to thermal energy, radiative capture residues are
normally included. On the other hand, photonuclear reactions are not
simulated unless explicitly requested through the PHOTONUC card, and may
require interaction length biasing (LAM-BIAS) in order to get a suitable
statistics for the respective residues.

Best regards

Francesco Cerutti
