Dear Jean-Emmanuel,

The sampling of source positions can actually be done with the BEAMPOS card using SDUM = CYLI-VOL (you can specify the inner and outer radius, as well as the heights of the inner and outer cylinders on the different WHATs - see manual for details). By default, the cylinder axis is assumed to correspond to the z-axis, but you can tilt it in any direction using the BEAMAXES cards. For the emission angles, I suppose you would like an isotropic distribution: you can request this on WHAT(3) of the BEAM card - see manual.

Cheers, Anton

Subject: [fluka-discuss]: Marinelli beaker source

Dear users,

I would like to simulate a gamma source inside a Marinelli beaker.
I guess that I must use the source.f file in order that my photons are
generated into the slab defined between a small and a big cylinder.

Does somebody has already done such a geometry for a source ?
What parameters or variable do I modify in the source.f ?

Thanks.
Jean-Emmanuel
