In this case a simple update of binutils to version 2.26 or higher should fix it.

today I have downloaded fluka2011.2c-linux-gfor64bitAA.tar.
I followed the installation instructions and defined the environment
variables.

When I'm running make the executable is not made.
I did try two times. I attach the terminal output of
both trials as text files.
There are basically four error messages which I extract here
