You can use the "USERWEIGHT" card and activate the call to fluscw.f.
Copy the fluscw.f from $FLUPRO/usermvax to your directory and
modify it there to adjust the weight (FLUSCW) of the scored quantity.

Hello Vasilis,

Thank you very much for your e-mail. We would like to make that calculation inline. Instead of scoring the averaged fluence differential in energy of charged particles in a disc of material using USRTRACK and then separately multiply it with the stopping powers (dumped by DELTARAY), we would like to make this calculation inline, i.e. during the transport to avoid problems with the resolution of the binning. Would this be possible using FLUKA?

Many thanks,

Ana

Hi Ana,

you can dump the dE/dx tables for the materials used in your input, using the DELTARAY card, and enable the sdum: PRINT

Subject: [fluka-discuss]: Stopping power ratios from inline calculations

Dear Fluka experts,

Stopping power ratios are important for dosimetry using ionization chambers since they are part of the conversion of ionization in air to dose to water.

Ideally the cavity integrals required for the stopping power ratio calculation are all calculated inline within the Monte Carlo simulation avoiding problems with the resolution of binning.

I would like to ask if it would be possible to compute stopping power ratios directly from inline calculations using FLUKA rather than first calculating the fluence differential in energy and then separately averaging the stopping powers over the calculated spectra?

Many thanks,
Ana
