Dear Aman,
Without details about the error messages it is hard to judge why it fails, but it could well be the compiler version. As discussed recently on the Email list, the latest FLUKA respin (2c.6) needs gfortran 6.x. Which compiler version do you use?

Dear FLUKA experts,
I am trying to install last version of FLUKA, 'fluka2011.2c-linux-gfor64bitAA.tar.gz' on my laptop with ununtu 14.04 LTS, core i3 intel processor, 4GB RAM.
But compilation process (> make) shows many errors. It seems to be the issue of suitable versions of gcc/gfortran etc. Someone who is using this version of FLUKA with ubuntu as OS, please tell me the exact version of ubuntu (with kernal), gcc & gfortran etc, so that I may compile my installation smoothly.
