I would like to count the number of neutrons hitting the Zero Degree Calorimeter (ZDC - this is a 10*10 cm square, at a 140 m distance from the interaction point). These very forward neutrons are most probably produced in evaporation processes and intranuclear cascades and have ~TeV energy. I made the following geometry: 10*10*28000 cm paralellepiped filled with vacuum and a black hole region around it, to discard tracks missing the ZDC. The pPb collision takes place in the middle of this region. Is it possible to count the number of neutrons hitting the end of this region (the ZDC detector) in a certain event? I figured it out, that it may be connected to SCORE and EVENTDAT input cards. Thank you for your help, Best regards, Oliver -- Oliver Suranyi Eotvos Lorand University PhD student __________________________________________________________________________ You can manage unsubscription from this mailing list at https://www.fluka.org/fluka.php?id=acc_infoReceived on Tue Aug 01 2017 - 15:59:06 CEST
