Dear Riya,

I suppose that you want to model the atmospheric diffusion of radionuclides released from a point-like source using a Gaussian plume model? There is no built-in source in FLUKA which can simulate this, but you would need to implement a customized source routine, where you sample the positions and directions of particles emitted in the radioactive decay. Please have a look at the FLUKA course slides:
https://indico.cern.ch/event/489973/contributions/2148893/attachments/1271819/1884943/11_AdvancedSources2016.pdf (see the part on user-defined sources)

Some general information about the use of routines in FLUKA can be found in following slides:

Cheers, Anton

Subject: [fluka-discuss]: Gaussian plume source in FLUKA-Flair

Hello sir,
I want to know whether Gaussian plume source can be made in FLUKA-Flair ??

With regards,
Riya Dey
