  * Lead and take responsibility for RP risk assessments and for the definition of protective measures to minimize the exposure of people and the environment to ionising radiation generated by CERN's activities.
  * Provide expertise on RP matters to the CERN Departments and Management on radiation protection aspects of the design, operation and maintenance of accelerators and experiments.
  * Lead or participate in RP research and development with a view to the development, use and maintenance of models, computer codes, state-of-the-art tools, instruments and methods for radiological risk assessments.
  * Produce, contribute to or edit legal, technical and scientific documentation, including rules, specifications, reports, notes, international publications and presentations for internal/external use.
  * Supervise or coordinate the work of technical personnel, post-docs, associates and students.
