Hello Zhefu,
Could you describe the problem that requires having USRBIN card with more than 3000 bins?
It is difficult to say without knowing the details, but one practical approach can be to have multiple USRBIN cards covering your area of interest. You would have fine mashes for areas with narrow distributions, and coarse mashes elsewhere. This may be a better approach both from the point of view of having reasonable statistics in each bin and for staying within the limits of the total memory allocated for scoring.
Regards,
George

Subject: [fluka-discuss]: Question about the upper bound of 3000 for USRBIN card.
Hi,
I found that for cartesian, R-Z and R-Phi-Z binnings, the number of X bins or Y bins or Z bins cannot exceed the limit of 3000 for USRBIN card.
When plotting the 2D Projection, the error messages are shown in the output as follows:
At line 1191 of file gplevbin.f
Fortran runtime error : Index '3001' of dimension 2 of array 'vlrzta' above upper bound of 3000
Error termination. Backtrace:

Therefore, I want to consult you is it possible to change the upper bound of 3000 for USRBIN card and if possible how to do that ?
Could you give some suggestions and thanks in advance.
Best regards
Zhefu
