Dear FLUKA Forum,
The problem I have had with running FLUPIX on Windows 7 through VirtualBox has now been resolved.
I found that other VB users had issues with IBM Trusteer Rapport software, and I discovered that Trusteer Endpoint created similar issues.
It has been necessary to completely uninstall EndPoint, but this was fairly straightforward and VirtualBox is now running FLUPIX happily again.
This was (to me anyway) quite an obscure problem, and fortunately VirtualBox has a reasonably active and useful forum.

Dear FLUKA Discussion,
I apologise in advance if this forum is not the correct place to raise this problem, but I have not been able to resolve it through the Virtual Box forum.
The issue is related to starting FLUPIX, but as I understand it is no longer supported, then probably the only solution will be to move to a full Linux-based platform?
I have attached the 'hardening' log file in case it is useful.
My VB Windows 7 host is now failing with a 'hardening' error - until very recently it worked fine. Could it be caused by a Windows Update? I have read the forum but I am not sure what to look for. Log files are attached.
