Dear Abhijit,

the error message suggests that, you tried to install a FLUKA version not compatible with your compiler. Please check if you tried to install the fluka2011.2x-linux-gfor64bit-7.3-AA.tar.gz package.

Kind regards,

Subject: [fluka-discuss]: New Fluka issue in ubuntu 18.04

Hello!

I installed recently new FLUKA2011.2x followed by flair and flair geomviewer in Ubuntu
OS 18.04 LTS while I find some issues.

First I would like to configuration in my laptop:
(a) linux kernel: 4.19.6-041906-generic (x86_64),
(b) gcc version: 7.3.0-27ubuntu1~18.04
(c) gfortran version: 7.3.0-27ubuntu1~18.04
(d) GNU ld version: 2.30

I defined FLUFOR and FLUPRO as described.

I faced that my input was not running and then I tried to run exfixed.inp as provided in
fluka distribution as suggested by one of my friend.

I see "timed out" in run status in flair. So I tried to run using "rfluka -M 1
exfixed.inp" directly from command prompt. I see that "fluka_6423" subdirectory is
formed which contains manyfiles. Here fort.11 points to exfixed001.out file which was
not created.

The peculiar part is that "fluka_6423/exfixed001.log" contains following:

vega_at_aditya:~/test$ cat fluka_6423/exfixed001.log
Fortran runtime error: Incorrect extent in VALUE argument to DATE_AND_TIME intrinsic: is
-140202614629398, should be >=8

Error termination. Backtrace:

The "date-time" error and pointer to "/home/alfredo/..." are something not expected. Is
there anything wrong in my installation?

Please advise.
Thanks and Regards
