Dear Li,

Below 1 keV the validity of the physics models become questionable, hence it is not recommended to set the threshold lower than 1 keV. If you want to simulate the transport and interactions of 50 eV you have to use another type of code, since condensed history codes like FLUKA are not suitable for this energy regime.

Cheers, Anton

Subject: [fluka-discuss]: The Minimum threshold energy

Dear FLUKA experts,
I learned from the note 3 on the EMF-CUT card that the minimum threshold energy for transport of electrons is 1keV.
Does that mean it can't be set to 50eV or some values below 1KeV?

Best regards
Li
