Thanks Luigi. It is now clear and it works.
I also succeed in reading several Go of data from txt file with source routine.

I just have another question:
Is it possible to link mass activity or activity by type of radionuclei to usrrnc results?

Thank you very much again

Julien

Dear Julien,
from the information you provide it’s not clear to me what is your goal.

However, the two half-lives represent stable residual nuclei (1e38) and fluorine-18 (6586.2 s).
But you should already know as you also print out the atomic and mass numbers.

Why are not present other unstable nuclei is not clear to me.

Some additional comments:
- no need to overwrite IJBEAM in the source routine: this value is set by the BEAM card to proton and your do not change it
- WATER is a predefined material in FLUKA
- no need for the PHOTONUC
- no need for the PHYSICS card with SDUM = PEATHRES (beam proton energy is lower than 0.1 GeV)
- no need for the LAM-BIAS
- no meaning scoring DOSE in VACUUM (first USRBIN)

Best, luigi

Dear Luigi

It works.
But perhaps I didn't understand this function beacause I have only two values at the end of simulation: 1e38 or 6586.2
I send you the input and the 2 routines I use.
But I cannot send you the phase space .dat that source routine reads because it's to big sorry.

really thank you for your help

Dear Julien,
I overlooked an error in the call of the TIM1O2 function.
Please try the modified routine.
In case you still have problem, please send me the FLUKA input file, the last random seed file and any other relevant files.
Best luigi

Hi Luigi

Thank you but it doesn't work...

Abort called from TIM1O2 reason STOP: TIM1O2-ISOMER-NOT-FOUND Run stopped!
STOP STOP: TIM1O2-ISOMER-NOT-FOUND

Have i forgot something?

Dear Julien,
please find enclosed your routine with some errors corrected:
- no need to define the TIM1O2 at the beginning of the file
- region names have 8 characters
- better to check the region number

I leave to you to test the execution.

Hope this could help.
Best luigi

Hi fluka users

I would like to use the TIM1O2 function to print the half time of resnuclei that I found but I can't compile the usrrnc routine.
I always have a problem.
Any idea please?

Thanks
