Ciao Davide,
I have run your input file without any problems. This indicates
that your error is not exactly reproducible and, given your simple
input, the reason could be in the geometry. I think that you could
simplify it: in my opinion you do not need "piano3", since it actually
coincides with one of the faces of your RPP "interno" at z=30.
In reality, it is better avoid these overlaps of a finite body with
an infinite one, since they can generate numerical inaccuracies
during the run.
I send you a corrected input file: please run it and see if it
still hangs.
