Dear FLUKA users

FLUPIX 2008.3 has been released:
Installation Instructions: http://www.fluka.org/content/tools/flupix/
Download: https://www.fluka.org/fluka.php?id=download

FLUPIX is a KNOPPIX (www.knoppix.org) version of the Live CD, with
pre-installed FLUKA, flair and all the necessary tools for performing
fluka runs. FLUPIX can run as a bootable CD/DVD, bootable USB or through
any virtual machine from any host operating system (Ms Windows XP,
Vista, Mac OS, Linux, Solaris etc.) based on an Intel CPU. However
FLUPIX includes all the additions of VirtualBox
(http://www.virtualbox.org) an open source Virtual machine supported by
Sun, that provides easy installation and high performance. Using
VirtualBox (recommended way of working) you can install and have FLUPIX
running in a couple of minutes. The only disadvantage of VirtualBox is
that you need to have at least 1GB of RAM for Windows XP, Linux or 2GB
for Windows Vista.

Best Regards
Vasilis Vlachoudis

P.S. This message is sent to the fluka-users and fluka-discuss lists as
well as to some other lists internal to the FLUKA Collaboration. I
apologize to all those who will get it twice or more
