Dear Fluka users
a new respin, fluka2020.0.6, is now available on the Fluka web site.
This respin fixes the following issues:
- a problem when asking self-shielded neutron cross sections for a
monoisotopic element;
- a possible spurious crash when reading an USRBIN file with the
BIN-SOUR option (tahnks to M. Augelli for reporting it);
- a rare, temporary, switch to multiple scattering when single
scattering *always* is selected for a given material. It could
have occurred far from boundaries and for a consecutive number of
single scatterings in excess of 9999. Physics was not affected,
anyway now the user request to use *always* single scattering
in a given material is complied with no exception;
- a too stringent test when asking collider-like events with
very asymmetric projectiles has been relaxed (thanks to V.Baturin
for reporting it).
This respin also solves some energy non conservation issues in photonuclear
interactions at high energy.
Further rationalization of the way secondaries are presented to the user
routine mgdraw (entry usdraw) has been also performed, it should be
transparent for the users. There is now an extra Icode when the doiosp
routine (ion splitting) is called for completeness.
As usual assistance and support will be provided for the latest respin
only.
