RE: No _usrbin_0 files after simulation

Hi Lawrence,

difficult to judge what exactly is going wrong (input problem, problem
when handling flair, too less statistics,...), perhaps this helps:

when using flair:
- in <Run>: run the input-file for at least three histories (001, 002,
003)
- in <Data>: check the files generated and verify one of the *00?*out
files if the run was ok, i.e., check also the region summary table in
the end and see if you see fluence/energy deposition/stars in the
regions you're intested in (and you scored with usrbin)
- in <Files>: press 'Process' to generate the averaged files, etc...
- in all cases check also the flair-output window for suspicious
messages

direct cross-check:
- check one of your usrbin files directly, i.e., either generate for a
test an ASCII output (positive file-id in the respective USRBIN card),
or convert the generated binary file into an ASCII by using the user
routine (in $FLUPRO/flutil) <usbfuf> or <usbrea>

this should help you to understand what's going on.

cheers

Markus

Dear Markus
=20
Thank you so much for your help.Well i downloaded a new fluka version =
last week and i can now run my input file. But i'm now facing another =
problem.i want to merge the results for all the cycles but my _usrbin_0 =
is empty. I expected after clicking it i would get files with results =
to merge but there is nothing to merge.i could have attached my input =
file but its too big to by attached into my mail.Iam using falir Version =
0.7.5(R1.69) last chenged 2009/01/05.
=20
please help.
=20
Have a nice weekend Markus
