Flugg and gdml

Dear Paola,
I would like to ask you if any way exists to run FluGG reading a Geant4
geometry in GDML format. I found some clues in the net, mostly referring to the ATLAS experiment, but nothing in this list or in the FluGG documentation.
In case it's not possible, is there any other possibility to obtain the same result going through more steps like using the ROOT capabilities of reading the GDML format?a
