RE: Probably geometry problem

Hi Julian,

Your geometry looks okay. But you start a particle beam at Z=3D20.0
which coincides with the base of one of your cylinders. This is
something that should be avoided as it is not mathematically not clear
whether this position is already within the cylinder or not. I'd suggest
to either move it a bit up or down in Z, depending where you want to
start your beam.

Cheers
Chris

Subject: Probably geometry problem

Good afternoon, all .

I was trying to sun a simple simulation , but as a result receives strange =
error.
line 358: 1812 Aborted "${EXE}" < "$INPN" 2> "$LOGF" > "$LOGF"

When I tried to find some relevant post about such kind of error , the only=
thing I was able to dig is:
http://www.fluka.org/web_archive/earchive/prova/1272.html
with the following reply :
http://www.fluka.org/web_archive/earchive/prova/1277.html

As far as I understand I have some problem with geometry, but I can't be su=
re since I am relatively new to FLUKA.
I rechecked the basic geometry that I have , but still fail to find an erro=
r. I am posting my input file below , so if you could give me some advise\s=
uggestion, I will really apprisiate this.

Thank you in advance ,
                         Julian.
