For filtered scoring please see BEAMPART (ID=210, manual section 5.1),

You may verify successful filtering by applying multiple filters in
the same run and double-checking that total = sum of parts.

shower/cascade comprises the source proton and all subsequent secondaries,
where 'secondaries' include all particles from the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, ...
nth generation.
