Dear colleagues,

I am in search of help with an vague problem we are suffering with
fluka/2011.2.16.

The error we are running into with the attached inputfile is
documented in the log-file of the run as:

Program received signal 8 (SIGFPE): Floating-point exception.

Backtrace for this error:
    + /lib/libc.so.6(+0x33af0) [0x7f0f67a37af0]
    + function mxsgdl_ (0xBDC8A2)
at line 61 of file mxsgdl.f

at line 289 of file fluka.f
    + /lib/libc.so.6(__libc_start_main+0xfd) [0x7f0f67a22c4d]

This Error occurs if WHAT(1) of the DELTARAY card is switched to "-1."
(eg to switch the production off). By leaving it empty, Fluka runs
just smooth.

Something similar occurs if we set WHAT(1) of DELTARAY again empty,
but disable by commenting then THRESHOL.

Program received signal 8 (SIGFPE): Floating-point exception.

We tested, to minimize the possibility of problems originating from a
malfunction of the compiler itself two different systems, Ubuntu
10.04.4 (with latest gcc/4.6.3) and Ubuntu 12.04.

For completeness, I attached the outputfile to show how far Fluka
reads the commands of the inputfile.

Any ideas where the problem sits/any solution proposals?

Best regards,

Franz Englbrecht
